These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of kodelicense.com (the “Site”) and any purchase made on it. By visiting the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order on the Site. By ordering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. What We Sell
KodeLicense sells genuine software activation keys sourced through verified channels. All products are digital and delivered electronically — no physical item is shipped, even where a product’s title references retail packaging such as “sealed CD/DVD,” which describes the original edition the key was issued under, not a physical disc you will receive.
3. Orders and Payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and may change without notice; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Payment is processed securely by our third-party payment provider at the time of order; see our Payment Policy for details. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order, including one we reasonably suspect to be fraudulent, and will refund any payment already taken for a cancelled order.
4. Delivery
Activation keys are typically delivered to the email address used at checkout within minutes of payment confirmation; see our Shipping & Delivery Policy for details. You are responsible for entering your email address correctly — we are not responsible for delivery to an incorrect address you provided, though we will help you recover a key sent to the wrong address where reasonably possible.
5. License Use
Each key is licensed to you by the original software publisher under that publisher’s own end-user license agreement (“EULA”), which governs your right to install, activate, and use the software. Our role is limited to selling you a genuine activation key; we are not the publisher and do not modify the software or its license terms. Keys are sold for the buyer’s own activation only — reselling, redistributing, publicly sharing, or using a single key across more devices or users than its license permits is not allowed and may result in the key being deactivated by the publisher.
6. Refunds and Replacements
Refunds and replacements are handled under our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Fraud Prevention
We monitor orders for signs of fraud, such as mismatched billing details or unusual purchase patterns, and may ask you to verify your identity or payment method before we deliver a key. We may delay, cancel, or refund an order we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, and may restrict access to the Site for accounts involved in confirmed fraud or abusive chargebacks.
8. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Site to: violate any applicable law; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user’s account; interfere with the normal operation of the Site; use automated means to scrape pricing or product data without our permission; or purchase keys with stolen or fraudulently obtained payment details.
9. Intellectual Property
The Site’s text, design, graphics, and logos are owned by KodeLicense or our licensors and may not be copied or used without permission. Product names, publisher logos, and trademarks referenced on the Site (such as Microsoft, Intuit/QuickBooks, or Windows) belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the genuine products we sell; their use does not imply any endorsement of KodeLicense.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, KodeLicense’s total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost data, lost profits, or the cost of alternative software, arising from your use of a key purchased from us. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute arises, please contact us at support@kodelicense.com first — most issues can be resolved directly and quickly. This section does not remove any right you have to bring a claim in your local courts where required by the consumer protection law that applies to you.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms. We will update the effective date above whenever we make a change.
13. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will stay in full effect.
